Police officers rescue drunk driver from his vehicle while he casually chats on the phone

Oklahoma City – Police officers rescue drunk driver from his vehicle while he casually chats on the phone while the car is on fire.

According to police, the vehicle rear-ended another car on the highway,  continued driving, hit a signpost, and then crashed into the ditch, causing the car to catch fire.

According to KFOR-TV, when officers arrived on the scene flames were shooting out of the vehicle.

When police arrived, the driver of the vehicle identified as 40-year-old Raymond Pascher was found sitting inside holding his cell phone and talking.

An officer told Pascher “Come on out, can you unlock your car? Your car is on fire.”

Pascher informed the police he could not open the door so officers broke the driver’s side window, Then Officer Vernier and Oklahoma City Police Officer Christopher Tran pulled Pascher out through the window.

According to KFOR, Pascher told officers he didn’t remember what happened and he didn’t know where he was.

Pascher was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. He was later charged with driving under the influence, KFOR reported.
