One of the protesters who ambushed Jeff Flake in the elevator at the Capitol after he confirmed he was voting for Brett Kavanaugh, is Ana Maria Archila, the co-executive director for the Center for Popular Democracy and the Center for Popular Democracy Action Fund.

The Center For Popular Democracy is heavily funded by old George Soros.

The organization also identified Maria Gallagher to the press as the other woman who confronted Jeff Flake.

The Free Beacon reports: “George Soros is one of the largest funders to the CPD. Soros provided the CPD with $130,000 from the Foundation to Promote Open Society in 2014 and $1,164,500 in 2015. Soros provided an additional $705,000 from the Open Society Policy Center in 2016.”

These are the three biggest funders of the CPD, according to a 2014 document. The Open Society Foundations ranks in third:

“CPD’s three biggest funders are:

  • Wyss Foundation
  • Ford Foundation

      • Open Society Foundations”
