Twitter Bans Krassenstein Brothers for Operating Fake Accounts and Buying Fake Followers

Anti-Trumpers Ed and Brian Krassenstein are banned from Twitter for life after ‘operating multiple fake accounts and purchasing account interactions,’ a spokesman for Twitter said.

Two of the biggest stars of far-left anti-Trump movement the #Resistance broke the site’s rules about operating fake accounts and purchasing fake interactions with their accounts.

“The Twitter Rules apply to everyone,” a Twitter spokesperson said in a statement. “Operating multiple fake accounts and purchasing account interactions are strictly prohibited. Engaging in these behaviors will result in permanent suspension from the service.”

The Krassensteins illicitly promoted their accounts by buying “fake interactions” like bots to retweet their posts and fake followers to inflate their profiles on the site.

These guys aren’t new to running scams.

Before turning to politics in 2017, the brothers saw their homes raided by federal agents investigating an investment scheme the Krassensteins were operating.
