It hasn’t been a great 2018 for the FBI as of yet, and it only got worse when this bombshell was dropped, it has now come to light that the Florida shooter called the police himself in what could only be described as a cry for help.
New audio that has been leaked proves authorities ignored another warning sign.
19-year old Nikolas Cruz made the call after getting into an altercation with a friend in late November; saying “The thing is I lost my mother a couple of weeks ago, so like I am dealing with a bunch of things right now.”
Listen to the 911 audio here:
On January 5, only a month before the school shooting, a woman who knew Cruz phoned the FBI tip line saying ‘I know he’s going to explode. ‘She said her biggest fear was that he might resort to entering a school and just start ‘shooting the place up.’
Forty days later Cruz opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida killing 17 people and injuring fourteen, five with life-threatening injuries.
Four police offers did not enter the building sparking a debate whether they could have defused the situation sooner, many experts agree they could of.
Three months before the deadly shooting a friend dialed 911 concerned about Cruz’ weaponry possessions. ‘I need someone here because I’m afraid he comes back and he has a lot of weapons,’ the friend said.
Authorities have acknowledged they should have looked into the many warning signs that Cruz was a deeply disturbed kid. They were aware of his disturbing social media posts stating his intentions and social services visited his home several times.
