In an event New York City, CNN’s anchor Don Lemon said that it’s his “obligation as a journalist” to call the sitting President a “racist”
No this isn’t a try not to laugh challenge, Lemon was 100% serious.
“If you have the evidence that shows you, that indicates, that leads you to nothing else but this president being racist, then I feel it’s my obligation as a journalist to say it,” Lemon said. “On that night I said it, and I don’t regret saying it. I believe that to be true.”
Lemon went onto say, President Trump needs to provide “evidence” that he’s not racist, adding that simply saying “I have black friends isn’t enough”
“Show me some evidence otherwise, besides I have black friends, I don’t really have any evidence of that either,” Lemon continued. “I mean when you say you have black friends, let’s just be honest here, when you say you have black friends, that doesn’t mean it’s people who come over to your office because they want something.”
Anyone paying attention or not spreading lies about President Trump simply because they don’t like him, know the current President is not racist at all.
However, Don Lemon, amongst others in the mainstream media, still perpetrate these lies for the only reason they didn’t want Trump to win.
So when will the blatant lies stop?
Most likely never, but, if “journalists” like Lemon wish to throw their credibility down the tube on a daily basis, then that is their choice.
