Conservative journalist and author Paul Sperry tweeted out on Monday that disgraced former FBI Director James Comey had FBI agents act as “cleaners” to retaliate against any agents who disagreed with his handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
Paul Sperry also tweeted that agents who refused to co-operate with him had investigations opened on them with the Office of Professional Responsibility.
Sperry has been one of a few Washington reporters who has been investigating some of the suspicious goings-on at the FBI under James Comey, particularly during the 2016 presidential election cycle. Between Sperry’s reporting and The Hill’s John Solomon, it’s become clear the bureau wasn’t following its own procedures when dealing with both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
It was reported only a few weeks ago that no less than 28 FBI agents with knowledge of the Hillary Clinton scandal were being subpoenaed by Congress to give their impression of the investigation into Comey’s handling of the private email server:
“We have an IG report coming out and I’m told as many as 28 people that have knowledge of the Clinton email server want to be subpoenaed so that they can tell the story of corruption at the highest levels of the bureau,” Fox News’ Sean Hannity reported.
The IG report revealed there was never any target or a subject in the FBI’s probe into Clinton, including her aides. Then came another report from Sperry saying that a long-rumored document — one in which then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch promised Hillary Clinton she wouldn’t “go too far” with the probe — was contained in the classified edition of IG Michael Horowitz’s report “and that he will work with Congress to declassify it.”
BREAKING: IG Horowitz testifies material implicating Lynch in possible obstruction of Hillary email case is contained in classified section of his report and that he will work with Congress to declassify it. Here is the possible smoking gun:https://t.co/5hU4rY5i8U

Monday’s tweet from Sperry was even worse news for James Comey:
BREAKING: Comey had SACs retaliate against field agents who spoke out about his mishandling of the Clinton email investigation. Some critical agents had OPR investigations opened on them.

Conservative journalist and author Paul Sperry said a source told him “Comey had SACs (Special Agents in Charge) retaliate against field agents who spoke out about his mishandling of the Clinton email investigation. Some critical agents had OPR (Office of Professional Responsibility) investigations opened on them.”
Sperry’s tweet came on the same day that The Hill’s John Solomon — the other reporter investigating the Comey scandal — published a story which said the former FBI director scuttled an immunity deal with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange which could have limited leaks of key CIA cyber-assets.
