In light of the blame being shifted onto President Trump regarding the awful event that saw the shooting of five journalists. I was going to do a write up debunking claims by the left that President Trump said the press is the enemy of the people, but then I saw this brilliant thread from Thomas Wictor on Twitter.
Take a look at this:
(1) @maggieNYT fell right into @realDonaldTrump‘s trap. pic.twitter.com/ofJV7KQpFs
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(2) Trump NEVER SAID that the press is the enemy of the people.
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(3) He said THIS. pic.twitter.com/0wuwYKXLXa
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(4) Do you understand the difference?
THIS now-FORMER journalist is a member of the fake-news media. pic.twitter.com/QHpz3Lcwxq
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(5) Here is the SECOND TIME that Trump used the phrase in question. pic.twitter.com/XsNZa7ZuyM
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(6) AGAIN, he’s talking about the FAKE NEWS media.
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(7) FAKE news. pic.twitter.com/o0qceHFzg5

(8) See?https://t.co/mydREWkTuR
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(9) So @maggieNYT and @Acosta are ADMITTING to being membewrs of the FAKE-NEWS media.
Trump was making a distinction.
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(10) Do you you know that not a single member of the press understood THIS?https://t.co/LCmzXSkX4L
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(11) That was President Donald John Trump ADMITTING to the FACES of the the press that he was feeding them FAKE NEWS, using what are called “barium meals” or “canary traps.”
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(12) But the press is too ARROGANT to admit that MAYBE Donald Trump is much smarter than they are.
When I heard “The leaks are real; the news is fake,” I pounded my desktop and screamed “FLYNN, YOU MAGNIFICENT BASTARD!”
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(13) It’s clear that CIA director Mike Pompeo and North Korean General Kim Yong-chol worked very closely together.
I hope that @GenFlynn was invited along JUST FOR FUN.
The spookiest spooks who ever spooked.
It would do my heart good to know that Flynn was there.
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(14) Trump NEVER SAID that the press is the enemy of the people.
He said those who peddle FAKE NEWS are the enemies of the people.
Who can argue with that?
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(15) A note to @maggieNYT and @Acosta:
I DESPISE President Obama.
And I can’t count the times I defended him against LIES.
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(16) I do NOT agree with Judge Roy Moore on social issues.
And I spent WEEKS proving that accusations made against him were LIES.
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(17) So if a journalist says that Trump called them the enemy of the people, it’s a case of the guilty dog barking first.
Let me tell you what Trump does.
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(18) There’s a movie–I won’t tell you the title–in which a guy murders a witness to a crime.
The murder takes place at 337 Owen Street (for example).
So what happens is the cops tell another guy to tell the murderer “The rope broke.”
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(19) See, the murderer hanged the witness.
So the guy working with the cops tells the murderer, “He said to tell you that the rope broke, and he’d meet you at this address.”
The note says 337 Owen Street.
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(20) So the murderer goes to 337 Owen Street, the house where he killed the witness.
He goes inside, and the cops are waiting for him.
“I didn’t do nuffin!” he says.
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(21) The cops produce the piece of paper with the address, which the murderer had thrown away.
“Take a closer look.”
The actual address on the paper is 339 Owen Street.
“How’d you know to come here?” the cops ask. “THAT address is on the other side of a vacant lot.”
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(23) Being a film fanatic, @realDonaldTrump is also aware of the letter scene in “Witness for the Prosecution.”
THAT is another way he’s fooling the FAKE-NEWS media into exposing itself.
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
(24) The claim that Trump said the press is the enemy of the people is fake news.
BIG SURPRISE…
— Thomas Wictor (@ThomasWictor) June 30, 2018
Brilliant work there by Thomas Wictor. If you’re not following him, you should.
While you’re here, we now have a brand new Facebook page!
Trump did say it and not just once.
He tweeted: it more than once and said it at rallies. On the 29th of October 2018 Trump tweeted this:
“There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news. The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly. That will do much to put out the flame…”
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 29, 2018
On the 5th of April 2019 he tweeted:
“The press is doing everything within their power to fight the magnificence of the phrase, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
“They can’t stand the fact that this Administration has done more than virtually any other Administration in its first 2yrs,”They are truly the ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!”
Those are direct quotes of the tweet:
In this video he actually says those words. Tell me this isn’t really him:
Don’t you people ever do any fact checking or research before you writ this rubbish? This was easy to check and find out that the “Fake News” is you.
But this is what happens when amateurs pretend to be journalists. Leave it to the professionals, guys.
