Reports have been going crazy about Henry Cavill hanging up the Superman cape. However, it seems it’s all just made up.
As usual, Twitter has jumped the gun and gone on an outrage rampage. This time it’s about Cavill leaving the role of Superman.
It’s even gone as far as IGN just making up fake news for what reason I do not know:
From Killmonger to Superman… 🤔 pic.twitter.com/SoGjU2omz5— IGN (@IGN) September 12, 2018
Michael B.Jordan is a great actor, but this report is just a straight up lie.
While the outrage rages on, everyone is ignoring statements from Cavill’s manager and Warner Bros themselves:
Be peaceful, the cape is still in his closet. @wbpictures has been and continues to be our partners as they evolve the DC Universe. Anticipate a WB statement later today.— Dany Garcia (@DanyGarciaCo) September 12, 2018
Um, hmmm…. 🧐 RT @THR: Statement from Warner Bros.: “While no decisions have been made regarding any upcoming Superman films, we’ve always had great respect for and a great relationship with Henry Cavill, and that remains unchanged” https://t.co/3Pp5D8jf2J— Henry Cavill Org (@HenryCavillOrg) September 12, 2018
So at ease everyone.
At this stage Henry Cavill will remain as Superman.
He’s going no-where.
