A recent investigation resulted in the arrest of 24 men charged with second degree luring, a majority of the predators’ method of contact was through various social media apps (listed below), according to the New Jersey General’s Office.
Manalapan elementary school, NJ, wants parents to ban kids from social media until age 13.
“If you’re not ready to have the conversations with your kids about pornography, sexual predators, sexting, then those kids aren’t old enough to be on those apps,” said Cindy Cimino, the district’s anti-bullying coordinator and supervisor of special education.
