While President Trump works to reopen government Pelosi vacations in Hawaii

President Donald Trump stayed in Washington, D.C, over Christmas and has been working to reopen the government, meanwhile, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is on vacation in Hawaii.

Pelosi was spotted on Thursday vacationing at a five-star resort ‘The Fairmont Orchid resort’ on Hawaii’s Big Island.

Room at The Fairmont Orchid resort is around $1,000 per night and over $5K per night for the presidential suite.

The resort has it all, guests there can play golf, have dinner at one of the six restaurants on luxury boats, and it they want, enjoy a couple’s massage that can cost up to $569.

According to The Washington Free Beacon:

“The resort, on Hawaii’s Big Island, features a golf course, six restaurants, and a 10,000-square-foot oceanfront pool. It also features a “Spa Without Walls,” where the 110-minute Ali’i Royal Experience is available for $369 and a 50-minute couples massage runs $549, according to the spa menu. While at the spa, guests can snack on a gluten-free grilled prawn summer roll for $19.”

Friday marks the seventh day of the federal government shut down, but that doesn’t seem to bother Nancy.

Pelsoi claimed the president was “plunging the country” into chaos around the Christmas holidays, yet while she has been living it up in Hawaii at the luxury resort, Trump was in Washington working and visiting troops in Iraq.

First Lady Melania Trump and Barron Trump, even returned to the White House so the family could spend Christmas together while Trump was working.
