Conservative activist Hayden Williams was violently attacked Tuesday on the campus of the University of California-Berkeley.
Williams sported a black eye after he was punched while assisting conservative group Turning Point USA recruit members.

Another conservative student was assaulted on @UCBerkeley‘s campus. I just spoke to the survivor of the attack who is a dear friend of mine. He is in good spirits and plans on continuing to fight for conservative values on campus once his black eye is gone! What a bad a**! pic.twitter.com/g67Y9pAszD

The angry man in the video is heard shouting profanities at Williams and at one point threatened to shoot him.
Police say he’s the man that was seen in the video wearing black in the altercation in Sproul Plaza on Feb. 19.

Arrest records from the sheriff’s office say Greenberg was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and attempting to cause great bodily injury.
Zachary Greenberg, 28, was arrested by university police about 1 p.m., after a judge issued an arrest warrant in the Feb. 19 attack on Hayden Williams, the school’s public affairs department said in a statement.

Greenberg isn’t a student of Berkeley and was booked into jail Friday and awaits charges from the Alameda County District Attorney’s office.
