JFK once warned the world that the “dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweigh the dangers which are cited to justify it.” He also said that “there is a very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment.”
“National security” is now a blanket term used to justify concealing information, but who makes these decisions?
False information or “fake news” if you will are routinely dispersed by mainstream media outlets — a reality that is clearly conveyed in this declassified CIA Document and has been exposed by multiple mainstream media journalists themselves.
And as shown with the NSA surveillance program that was exposed by Edward Snowden, it’s a global problem.
The declassified document states that the CIA task force “now has relationships with reporters from every major wire service, newspaper, news weekly, and television network in the nation,” and that “this has helped us turn some ‘intelligence failure’ stories into ‘intelligence success” stories,’ and has contributed to the accuracy of countless others.” Furthermore, it explains how the CIA has “persuaded reporters to postpone, change, hold, or even scrap stories that could have adversely affected national security interests or jeopardized sources and methods.”
The deception outlined by various whistleblowers instructs us to read between the lines and recognize that the relationships shared between intelligence agencies and mainstream media sources of information are not always warranted and pose inherent conflicts of interest.
False Flags
David Steele a 20-year Marine Corps intelligence officer, the second-highest-ranking civilian in the U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence and a former CIA clandestine services case officer, revealed this:
“Most terrorists are false flag terrorists, or are created by our own security services. In the United States, every single terrorist incident we have had has been a false flag, or has been an informant pushed on by the FBI. In fact, we now have citizens taking out restraining orders against FBI informants that are trying to incite terrorism. We’ve become a lunatic asylum.”
Operation Mockingbird, the CIA-based initiative to control mainstream media
Operation Mockingbird is a program developed by the CIA to infiltrate mainstream media and feed them stories that suit the narrative of the agency for ‘national security’ purposes.
Operation Mockingbird was actually birthed out of the Office for Strategic Services (OSS), which, during the Second World War, established a network of journalists and psychological warfare experts. Back then, these were propaganda campaigns or as we call them now, fake news campaigns.

One old famous example from the Office for Strategic Services (OSS) can be looked at by examining the Career of Richard Helms. He eventually became the CIA’s director and was recruited by his own supervisor at the United Press International’s Berlin Bureau to join the OSS’s “black propaganda” program.
Dr. Udo Ulfkotte, a prominent German journalist and editor for more than two decades, is also one of many examples. He exposed a lot on public television, stating that he was forced to publish the works of intelligence agencies under his own name and that noncompliance with these orders would result in him losing his job.

Sharyl Attkisson and Amber Lyon, both well-known mainstream media reporters, and journalists have also exposed funded movements by political, corporate, and other special interests. They have revealed that they were routinely paid by the U.S. government as well as foreign governments to selectively report and distort information on certain events.

The list of connections is extensive. For example, a 1991 declassified document also highlights a close relationship between mainstream media and the CIA.
As mentioned earlier: the document states that the CIA task force “now has relationships with reporters from every major wire service, newspaper, news weekly, and television network in the nation,” and that “this has helped” them “turn some ‘intelligence failure’ stories into ‘intelligence success’ stories.” It also explains how the agency has “persuaded reporters to postpone, change, hold, or even scrap stories.”
The documents not only outline the CIA’s role in mainstream media, but also the entire entertainment industry’s attempt to manipulate public perception of global events through mainstream media and news publications.
The documents also state that the CIA is constantly in touch with the entertainment industry, giving advice on scenes and direction, as well as how things should happen in certain situations. The entertainment industry is largely used to push propaganda and control whatever narrative they wish to.
Anderson Cooper, the CIA, CNN and Operation Mockingbird
It should really come as no surprise that Anderson Cooper, CNN’s primary anchor, and host of the CNN news show Anderson Cooper 360, has strong connections to the intelligence agency, and most likely still does.
The declassified CIA Documents shows close “relationships with reporters from every major television network in the nation,” so it’s reasonable to assume the same of Cooper.
He was confronted about his ties to the CIA by Luke Rudkowski from We Are Change:
WATCH:
What lends even more credibility to that hypothesis is the fact that, while attending Yale University as an undergraduate, he was actually an intern at the CIA. Furthermore, his uncle, William Henry Vanderbilt III, was an Executive Officer of the Special Operations Branch of the OSS under the spy organization’s founder, William “Wild Bill” Donovan. He also reached the rank of captain in the navy during WW2.
Cooper also comes from one of the richest families in American history, and one of the wealthiest figures on the planet, Cornelius Vanderbilt, also known as “Commodor Vanderbuilt,” who built his wealth on railroads and shipping.
As you can see above, the link between mainstream media such as CNN and intelligence agencies is very strong. Nobody can really deny that, as it’s been well known for decades but kept from the public these days.
Below is a clip from a hearing that was held on the topic in the 1950s to illustrate that point.
And with the amount of fake news stories to come out of the mainstream media – especially in the last few years – from the ridiculous pee tape, Russiagate, the Covington high school kids, the constant disinformation campaigns against President Trump and many more, it’s easy to see that operation mockingbird is alive more so than ever in 2019.
This is part one of our series exposing the mainstream media, stay tuned for more…This is only the beginning.
