On the condition that he doesn’t have to talk about current politics, former President Barack Obama is being paid nearly $600,000 to give a speech.
Straight outta the Clinton handbook.
According to a report by El Tiempo, a Colombian news outlet, Obama earned “2 billion Colombian pesos,” or $594,000 to speak at the EXMA conference which was held on Monday and Tuesday.
That’s $100,000 more than Bill Clinton got for his Moscow speech.
Obama set the condition himself that he wouldn’t talk about current politics.
People attending the speech could also take a picture with Barack Obama for 11 million Colombian pesos (approximately $3,200).
