Barack Obama campaigned on “hope” and “change,” but as president, America was left with no hope and very little change. In 2008, he sold that dream. But for eight years, America was left living the nightmare.
A legacy for sure — and it was certainly historic, but for all the wrong reasons. Not the kind to be very proud of.
So let’s take a look at Obama’s legacy in no particular order or ranking:
RACIAL DIVISION
Obama’s legacy represents one of the most racially divided times in US history. In a New York Times/CBS News poll conducted in July of Obama’s final year in office, 69 percent of Americans said that race relations were bad and that “six in 10 Americans say that race relations were growing worse, up from 38 percent a year ago.”
RACE-RELATED RIOTS
Under Obama race-related riots were on the rise. We can’t forget the scenes on television in Baltimore and Ferguson or the violence that erupted after the deaths of Oscar Grant, Trayvon Martin, Manuel Diaz, and Kimini Gray. Images taken from each of these events resembled combat zones, with police in riot gear while angry citizens burned cars, smashed windows, and vandalized storefronts.
APOLOGY TOUR
Obama represented a time when America’s enemies and allies abroad viewed the nation as weak. Shortly after his inauguration, Obama embarked on a worldwide apology tour throughout the Middle East and criticized America.
RISE OF HOMEGROWN DOMESTIC TERRORISM
Under Obama homegrown domestic terrorism was on the rise. We can’t forget the horrific scenes or the carnage in places like Fort Hood, Boston, Chattanooga, San Bernardino, and Orlando.
RISE OF ISIS
Right at the time when Islamic State recruitment was on the rise. Obama decided then to fulfill his campaign promises to withdraw U.S. forces from Iraq and Afghanistan, he didn’t take into account the void that would leave, as well as the opportunity for ISIS and enemies to fill it.
BENGHAZI
When embassy officials were attacked in Benghazi that resulted in senseless deaths, including Amb. Chris Stevens. The Obama administration failed to heed the warning signs in advance, and as a result, innocent Americans were killed. Stevens even warned Obama’s State Department about an escalation in violence and the need for additional help. But those pleas were ignored. Then the Administration lied about why the embassy was attacked.
OPERATION HAMMER
Under the Obama administration, The Hammer negated every American’s constitutional rights to privacy, turning the United States into a police state where the federal government was weaponized by the Obama administration against its political enemies.

IRAN NUCLEAR DEAL
One of Obama’s failed agreements was the Iran nuclear deal. Not only did he lie to Congress about the details of the deal, but he also ordered planes to secretly deliver billions of dollars in cash to Iranian officials. Obama secretly sent a plane to Tehran loaded with $400 million in Swiss francs, euros, and other currencies on the same day Iran released four American hostages, which was followed by two more secret flights carrying another $1.3 billion in cash. The Obama administration also secretly tried to help the country that screams “death to America” use U.S. banks to convert $5.7 billion in Iranian assets.
OBAMACARE
Obama will always be remembered for his landmark Obamacare legislation, which was meant to provide healthcare for all, still left 27 million Americans without insurance. And when he famously said, “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor,” that promise turned out to be a massive lie as well.
TERRIBLE FINANCIAL DEALS
Under Obama America made terrible financial deals, like the more than $2.2 billion in defaulted energy loans at taxpayers expense, including the now infamous $500 million loan to Solyndra, where company executives misled Energy Department officials and later went bankrupt. And who can forget when Obama said, “It’s here that companies like Solyndra are leading the way toward a brighter and more prosperous future.” In 2009, when everyday people were recession-weary, Obama arranged, just days before his inauguration, a $500,000 advance for a future book deal. Never before in our history had a president or president-elect negotiated a book deal before or during their time in office.
SPYGATE/TRUMP-RUSSIA HOAX
Tom Fitton was spot on when he made the prediction before the Mueller report came out that for everyday Americans who understand that there is no collusion, (the Mueller report now confirms that), there will be material in there placed by anti-Trump activists to try to smear the president and suggest misconduct on obstruction… The overwhelming evidence is there was no obstruction. If they could have made the case they would have and the big news here is that the Russia hoax has been exposed, the deep state coup cabal has to focus on something else now… This just shows that the president has been under siege, we have to thank the stars that the Mueller operation is over… despite Mueller and his operatives knowing for over a year that there was no collusion, they allowed this to fester to continue to make the president look bad. There is going to have to be not only accountability for how the Mueller operation began, but how it operated… Remember the FISA warrants were only one aspect of the spy campaign against President Trump, it included leaks and political bias and of course they were trying to entrap the Trump team by launching spies against the Trump campaign. Never in American history has there been such a spy effort against a candidate and abuse of power by an administration targeting its political opposition. Never before, not Nixon, not Johnson, never before. And Barack Obama, this is his legacy, this corruption.
