Federal Prosecutors recommended on Monday that Trump confidant 67-year-old Roger Stone should serve 7-9 years in prison for process crimes during the Mueller witch hunt.
Federal prosecutors recommended in a sentencing memo filed Monday that Trump associate Roger Stone serve 87 to 108 months in prison (7 to 9 years) — for alleged crimes that include obstruction of justice, lying to Congress and witness tampering.
Roger Stone is one of several Trump associates to be indicted as a result of the Mueller investigation and was found guilty in November of allegedly lying to Congress about his efforts to learn more about when WikiLeaks would publish damaging emails about 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Roger Stone was found guilty on all seven counts in a DC court in November.
Stone is set to be sentenced on Feb. 20. Former national security adviser Michael Flynn is the only other Trump associate convicted in the Mueller investigation who continues to await sentencing.
Meanwhile, as Gateway Pundit brilliantly points out: “We just witness several Democrats and far-left operatives — including Adam Schiff — lying to Congress about a Trump phone call with Ukraine. They will not be sent to prison.”
