According to many media outlets, Attorneys for Julian Assange told a London court that they will provide evidence that the Trump administration offered to pardon the WikiLeaks founder if he was willing to say that Russia had nothing to do with leaks of Democratic Party emails. But that was a lie.
It was Julian Assange’s lawyer (not Assange himself) that offered to expose the truth that Russia did not hack the DNC emails (none of which has been proven) in exchange for a pardon. However, The White House never responded.
Here’s a statement from Assange’s lawyer Dana Rohrahbacher:
Meanwhile, every news outlet (mainstream and alternative) ran with the fake news story that President Trump offered Julian Assange a pardon if the WikiLeaks founder said publicly that the Russians didn’t hack the DNC server. Only now are they starting to backtrack their false stories.
We decided to wait for the facts before running a story based on BS.
Because we are real news.
