The first lady was invited to visit happiness class at a grade school in New Delhi, the Sarvodaya Co-Ed Senior Secondary School, while on a trip to India.
According to pool reporter Gunjan Sharma, of the Press Trust of India, she meditated with students “as part of the ‘mindfulness’ activity and says she is feeling relaxed after the exercise.”
Then students demonstrated other steps on the road to happiness, such as “smiling at each other, finding positives in their partners, among others.” “It is very inspiring to me that students here begin each day participating in mindfulness,” The First Lady said to the Daily Mail. “I cannot think of a better way for all of us to start our day.”
Earlier, Melania began her day by sprinkling flower petals on a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi with her husband.
