Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) announced Monday that she will suspend her presidential campaign and fly to Dallas to endorse former Vice President Joe Biden.
Klobuchar is set to appear at Biden’s rally Monday night, just hours before voters in 14 different states head to the polls on Super Tuesday.
Klobuchar’s exit from the presidential race comes a day after former South Bend Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg announced that he would no longer seek the presidency.
Klobuchar outlasted several better-known and better-funded Democrats, thanks to a better-than-expected third-place finish in New Hampshire. But she couldn’t turn that into success elsewhere, as she struggled to build out a campaign that could compete across the country and had poor showings in the next contests.
