
Officials from Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the D.N.C. claimed they were unaware that law firm Perkins Coie facilitated the research of the Trump-Dossier on their behalf, even though the law firm was using their money to pay for it.
Clinton and the DNC both claimed they only found about Steele’s research after Buzzfeed published the dossier, the New York Times reported.
CNN reported back in October of 2017 that John Podesta and then DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz both denied to congressional Russia investigators that they had any knowledge about an arrangement to pay for opposition research on President Trump.
But if we take a look back at page 13 of John Podesta’s December 2017 testimony and what he told House Intelligence investigators under oath, you can see that all of the above isn’t true at all.
