Michael Forest Reinoehl was killed by a federal fugitive task force in Lacey, Wash., on Thursday. He was being investigated in a fatal shooting at a Portland, Ore., protest.
Michael Forest Reinoehl, 48, was shot by officers from a federal fugitive task force during the encounter in Lacey, Wash., southwest of Seattle, according to four law enforcement officials.
“As they attempted to apprehend him, there was gunfire,” Lieutenant Brady said. He said four law enforcement officers fired their weapons.
According to the New York Times, “An arrest warrant was issued by the Portland police earlier on Thursday.
The Associated Press confirmed that Reinoehl pulled a gun on the Police officers.
On the same day the arrest warrant for Michael Reinoehl was issued, Vice News published an interview with Reinoehl in which he admitted to the shooting of Aaron J. Danielson, claiming, ‘I had no choice.’”
Michael Reinoehl shot and killed Danielson on the streets of Portland last Saturday, the same day that a Trump caravan had made its way through the city.
As Reinoehl and others charged at Danielson he sprayed a cloud of mace in their direction. In response, Reinoehl fired two shots at Danielson, who stumbled before collapsing on the street and dying.
Danielson lived in Portland and was a Trump supporter, the media and some are trying to label Mr. Reinoehl as a Nazi, but that is false. It’s a common smear from the left, they call everyone who supports Trump a racist Nazi.
