Transcript Clearly Shows Trump Agreed To Condemn White Supremacists

The mainstream media is claiming that President Trump refused to condemn white supremacists. This simply not true and very provable.

The transcript of the first presidential debate clearly shows (and if you watch the debate again) President Donald Trump replied “sure” TWICE when asked to condemn white supremacists.

As for the “stand down” language, that came from moderator Chris Wallace, and the “Proud Boys” were first brought up by Joe Biden.

Despite this, the media is falsely claiming and spreading like wildfire that the president would not condemn white supremacists at the first presidential debate.

The question in itself, from Chris Wallace, was very absurd and clearly a set-up as President Trump has condemned white supremacists so many times that it’s amazing the lie that he hasn’t still has legs. Chris Wallace knows this.

In fact, Trump has condemned them so many times it’s surprising that he’s not in the Guinness World Records for the most amount of times someone has condemned a hate group. (Maybe someone should look into that.)

See for yourself.

Now back to the debate.

It is simply untrue to claim that President Trump flat-out refused to condemn white supremacists. Claims that he didn’t condemn them heavily rely on very deceptive edits that omit what President Trump, Chris Wallace, and Joe Biden actually said.

As Breitbart points out, the transcript, amid the crosstalk, reveals the truth:

  1. Wallace refused to accept “sure” for an answer and demanded Trump (and only Trump) condemn extremists onstage.
  2. Wallace is the one who introduced the “stand down” language — not Trump, who was doing what he was asked.
  3. Biden is the one who demanded Trump condemn the “Proud Boys” — a right-wing group — and Trump complied.
  4. Biden refused to condemn Antifa, saying it was “an idea, not an organization.” Wallace then tried to end the argument.

Here’s what happened: (emphasis added to the transcript):

Wallace: You have repeatedly criticized the vice president for not specifically calling out Antifa —

Trump: That’s right.

Wallace: — and other left-wing extremist groups. But are you willing, tonight to condemn white supremacists and militia groups —

Trump: Sure.

Wallace: — and to say that they need to stand down and not add to the violence in a number of these cities as we saw in Kenosha, and as we’ve seen in Portland.

Trump: Sure, I’m willing to do that.

Wallace: Are you prepared specifically to do it.

Trump: I would say —

Wallace: Go ahead, sir.

Trump: I would say almost everything I see is from the left wing not, not from the right wing.

Wallace: So what are you — what are you saying?

Trump: I’m willing to do anything. I want to see peace.

Wallace: Well, then, do it, sir.

Trump: I am —

Biden: Say it. Do it. Say it.

Trump: Do you call them — What do you want to call them? Give me a name. Give me a name.

Wallace: White supremacist — and right-wing militia.

Trump: Go ahead. Who would you like me to condemn?

Biden: White supremacists. The Proud Boys.

Trump: Who.

Wallace: White supremacists and right-wing militia.

Trump: Proud Boys, stand back and stand by. But I’ll tell you what, I’ll tell you what. Somebody’s got to do something about Antifa and the left. Because this is not a right-wing problem —

Biden: His own — his own FBI director said —

Trump: –this is a left-wing problem. This is a left-wing problem.

Biden: — the threat comes from white supremacists. Antifa is an idea, not an organization.

Trump: Oh, you gotta be kidding.

Biden: Not militia. That’s what his FBI —

Trump: Oh, really, FBI, OK.

Biden: His FBI director said.

Wallace: Gentlemen, we’re gonna —

Trump: Well, then he’s wrong.

Wallace: No, no. We’re done, sir.

What wasn’t mentioned by Wallace is the fact that not only has President Trump condemned white supremacists, KKK, or any hate group, Trump unveiled a $500B ‘Platinum Plan’ for African Americans that designates the KKK and ANTIFA as terrorist organizations.

This whole condemn game the media and left like to play got old long ago, yet they continue to play it because they know it’s an effective lie that their brainwashed followers choose to believe because of their pure hatred for Trump.

It’s part of their whole win at any cost shtick.
