On Thursday, 19-year-old American cyclist Quinn Simmons was suspended by his team because he dared to support the President of the United States.
Simmons, who’s a 19-year-old 2019 junior road race world champion, responded to Jose Been, a Dutch journalist who falsely claimed President Trump is a racist.
Quinn Simmons responded to Been by saying: “Bye” with a black hand waving emoji.
Another Twitter user hit out at Simmons replying: “Apparently a Trumper,” to which Simmons responded, “That’s right” with a US flag emoji.
This set off the anti-Trump activists on his team who immediately released a statement saying they suspended 19-year-old Simmons:
“Regrettably, team rider Quinn Simmons made statements online that we feel are divisive, incendiary, and detrimental to the team, professional cycling, its fans, and the positive future we hope to help create for the sport,” Trek-Segafredo said in a statement. ”(He) will not be racing for Trek-Segafredo until further notice.”
Amazing how so many people are losing their jobs because they support President Trump, and why?
Because the media continues to spread the lie that Trump is a racist and all because they wanted Clinton to win in 2016. This has to be the longest tantrum in history.
