During her stay in a Sydney hotel room, Katie Hopkins shared an Instagram Live video in which she joked about deliberately breaking Covid rules by opening her door naked and mask-free to the workers who deliver her food. Hopkins later stated she didn’t actually break quarantine rules.
Katie was set to star in Celebrity Big Brother and was placed in a Hotel under strict ‘COVID rules.’ Hopkins had flown into Australia last week to appear on Celebrity Big Brother once she had finished her mandatory 14-day quarantine.
‘The police officer who checked me in told me when they knock on my door I have to wait 30 seconds until I can open the door,’ Hopkins joked in the video while breaking out into hysterics.
Hopkins joked that she was ‘lying in wait’ to ‘spring [the door] open and frighten the s*** out of them and do it naked with no face mask.’
After she made the video, Channel Seven dropped Hopkins from the show and her visa was cancelled.
The usual outrage mob called for her to be deported and their humorless souls were once again refilled with the hate that fuels them.
The 46-year-old boarded a Singapore Airlines flight from Sydney at 3 pm on Monday after her critical skills visa was torn up by the Australian Federal Government. She was also fined $1,000 for answering the door of her room in quarantine naked and without a face mask. Although, they didn’t say she actually did it.
Hopkins, however, later said in a post on social media that she has ‘never broken quarantine’, adding that her ‘heart goes out to Australians and this brilliant country known for [its] sense of humour.
Some 12 million Australians in Victoria and Greater Sydney are in lockdown over an outbreak of the highly contagious Delta variant which began on June 16.
