The FDA gave full approval to Pfizer-BioNTech for its coronavirus vaccine on Monday for those aged 16 and older.

Pfizer’s vaccine can now be marketed directly to consumers and the company will do so under the name Comirnaty.
For 12-to-15-year-olds and for immunocompromised people seeking third doses, the shot is still only available under emergency use authorization.
