A woman upset by Victoria’s vaccine mandates was saved by emergency services after trying to commit suicide by setting herself on fire in Werribee, we have been told.
Witnesses to the tragic scene on Cherry Street on Monday confirmed the woman stopped her car in the middle of the road and displayed a sign which read: “No one cares, mandates are killing us”.
The unknown woman told police she had lost everything and had nothing left because of the vaccine mandates in place in Victoria.
She lit a fire and was taken to hospital by paramedics.
A video on a local Wyndham Facebook site showed the aftermath with fire crews, police, and paramedics all in attendance.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman confirmed they were called to the incident near a Woolworths supermarket across from Bunning on Cherry street just before 2 pm Monday following reports of a woman attempting self-harm.
“She was subsequently taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” the spokeswoman said.
It’s unclear why the mainstream media and outlets like Rebel News have chosen to ignore this despite us contacting them numerous times.
We’ve been told no other details will be provided by Victoria Police or Ambulance Victoria.
