A crowd of people protesting against vaccine mandates that the media is calling “anti-vaxxers” was seen apparently seen shouting at hundreds of people waiting to be tested for COVID in Sydney.
A huge queue of residents was seen waiting for their swab on Macquarie Street in the city’s CBD on Thursday. But no footage or images of alledged ‘anti-vaxxers’ abusing them was released within these reports.
But the Daily Mail is reporting that a handful of protestors were reportedly seen yelling at them from the other side of the street.
Testing numbers have been steadily climbing in NSW, reaching a record 143,938 on Thursday after the state suffered its highest daily case total of 1,742 infections.
There was a protest held that was part of a “Declare your rights” rally.
Rally was advertised as a protest against vaccine passports, lockdowns, and mandatory vaccines. There was no mention of the rally being against vaccines despite the media reporting as such.
