At the Star Wars: Visions panel held during the Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023, Lucasfilm and Disney+ presented a sneak peek of the upcoming Star Wars Visions Volume 2. This is the follow-up to the debut season of the animated anthology series, and it will feature nine new shorts from nine different studios worldwide, each with their own distinctive take on the Star Wars universe.
The official trailer for Volume 2 was revealed at the event, and it is packed with fast-paced scenes from each of the shorts, showcasing the unique styles of the studios. The trailer opens with a lightsaber battle in the colorful and intense “Sith,” followed by the humorous stop-motion animation of “I Am Your Mother.” The trailer also includes a striking moment from the 2D-animated “In the Stars” by Punkrobot, where a girl confronts a TIE fighter.
