During a press conference held on Wednesday, it was revealed that President Biden had a cheat sheet with him, which disclosed that he had prior information about a question from a journalist. The 80-year-old president was seen holding the cheat sheet during the conference, which has sparked a controversy regarding his transparency and honesty.
“How are YOU squaring YOUR domestic priorities — like reshoring semiconductors manufacturing — with alliance-based foreign policy?” read a question from Los Angeles Times reporter Courtney Subramanian.
The cheat sheet was seen held by Biden during a joint press conference with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol where they discussed growing nuclear threats from North Korea — as the two nations celebrate the 70th anniversary of their alliance.
Biden’s crib notes have been seen before, which has fueled the speculation about his mental capacity. Although the president’s physician reported in February that he was in good health, he declined to answer any inquiries from reporters about his cognitive abilities.
Last June, the president exposed a worded cheat sheet with detailed instructions.
“YOU enter the Roosevelt Room and say hello to participants,” the note read, then immediately directed the oldest-ever president, “YOU take YOUR seat.”
In July 2021, POTUS took an embarrassing note from an aide that said: “Sir, there is something on your chin.”
