According to multiple sources who spoke with One Take News, Andy Samberg will be the voice of Scarlet Spider aka Ben Reilly, in the upcoming film “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse”.
The identity of the actor behind the voice of Scarlet Spider has been kept under wraps for some time, but the news is beginning to circulate. The sources indicate that while Samberg’s portrayal of Scarlet Spider will be a supporting role in the movie, he won’t have as much screen time as other characters like Karan Soni’s Spider-Man India or Issa Rae’s Spider-Woman.
The sources according to One Take News describe him as a secondary supporting character, but with the potential for a larger role in the future installment “Beyond The Spider-Verse”. Whether Samberg will return to the role for the next year’s trilogy remains unclear at this point.
