In the third episode of its 22nd season, “Family Guy” hilariously mocks Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, their Netflix deal, and their lack of content production for the multi-million dollar contract they signed back in 2020.
The episode begins with Peter Griffin (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) declaring that he will “go it alone like Meghan Markle and Prince Harry,” referencing the couple’s decision to step down as working members of the Royal Family in 2020.
The show then cuts to a scene featuring animated versions of Harry and Meghan lying by a pool, where a butler approaches Harry and says, “Sir, your millions from Netflix for… no one knows what.” Harry responds with a wave, saying, “put it with the rest of them.” Meghan’s phone then alerts her to do a daily $250,000 sponsored Instagram post for Del Taco.

The episode also references the couple’s failed $20 million Spotify deal, with Harry seemingly expressing some regret over leaving his privileged life in Britain, saying, “I shouldn’t have left the made-up nonsense”.
This is not the first time a comedy show has targeted the dramatic duo, as they previously faced a roasting by Comedy Central’s South Park in February 2023.
