
A police officer pleaded to a female security guard to put down her phone and help him subdue a robbery suspect in Houston.
Bystanders began filming the confrontation between the police officer and the suspect who has been identified as 17-year-oldĀ Davon Shavelle Miller, he was pulled over and ran from the officer, a local news stationĀ reported.
“He’s trying to kill me!” the suspect yelled, while the officer yelled that Miller was trying to grab his service weapon.
A man can be seen helping the police officer hold Miller on the ground, as others at the gas station pleaded with the suspect to stop resisting.
At one point, a female security guard is seen recording on her cell phone instead of assisting the officer
“Stop f***ing filming and help me!” the officer shouted to her.
The security guard has now been fired after the video went viral, while Miller is charged with resisting arrest and disarming a police officer.
